I can remember when Terminal Velocity was cutting edge. This game places you in a flying space ship with 3D worlds to explore and destroy. This was the first game I ever played which gave you expansive 3D out doors areas to explore. I can also remember needing to turn off all of the options in order to make it run well on my computer - so I was quite amused to see it run perfectly under Virtual PC with all of the options turned up high:

This was the first 3D game to ever give me motion sickness - but having gone back and played it again - I suspect that this is because its 3D engine is a bit off and looks like it has a 'fish-eye' effect applied to it.
