In the grand tradition of computer game sequels - The Settlers II - takes the concepts of The Settlers and polishes them up, extends them, and sells them in a new box. Having said that - I love this game. Given that one of the draw cards of The Settlers is the level of complexity and detail - higher resolution graphics and more buildings genuinely does mean more fun.The Settlers II under Virtual PC

One of the welcome additions to The Settlers II is the addition of a story mode. This is nice because it gives you a better sense of direction than the original game (where you started with one building and where told 'build an empire' :-)). And just like The Settlers, The Settlers II runs perfectly under Virtual PC.
