Californian Games under Virtual PC

Ahh... One of the true classics. Californian Games presents you with the ability to practice and compete in a number of subgames - like surfing, skating, BMX riding, etc... And most of these games have a surprising amount of depth to them. Californian Games runs well under Virtual PC - however it runs too fast! The easiest way that I found to deal with the speed issues was to run Californian Games under a DOS session on a Windows 98 virtual machine. Now - Windows 98 will detect that Californian Games is doing some funky stuff and ask you whether you want to run it in 'real DOS mode'. You need to say no to this (and even edit the properties on the .EXE to stop it from offering this to you) otherwise you will be back to having a game that runs too fast. Apart from this it runs perfectly under Windows 98:Californian Games under Virtual PC
