Warlords BattleCry under Virtual PC

Warlords BattleCry is an interesting spin off from the original Warlords series. It is not a turn based strategy game (like the others in the series) but is a real time strategy. As far as realtime strategy games go - it is not that bad - but to be honest I have played soooo many real time strategy games that I am a bit jaded about them these days.

One interesting aspect of Warlords BattleCry is that they have tried to maintain the concept of a 'Hero' figure. Three significant abilities that your hero possesses are:
- To increase the combat skills of any unit within his area of influence
- To cast a variety of magical spells
- To undertake quests in return for bonus armies, objects or resources

Warlords BattleCry runs find under Virtual PC - and by some odd twist of fate I have never actually installed it on my real hardware :-)
