Conquests of Camelot: Quest for the Holy Grail is a classic Sierra adventure game. You use the mouse or keyboard to move around – and type in actions for Arthur to perform. One thing that I always remember about Conquests of Camelot is that it is incredibly easy to kill yourself accidentally. An example of this (shown below) is that if you leave your castle without first making an offering to the Gods – you will be crushed by the gate and killed (the only way you would ever find this out is to be killed by the gate and read the text warning). Needless to say – this game can get quite frustrating at times.
Conquests of Camelot runs fine under Virtual PC – and if you select to use the Adlib sound card during installation then you will get to enjoy the magnificent 3 channel music:
