MSR Shows KinectFusion With Real-Time 3D Models

Microsoft Research showed high-quality 3D models being created from a moving Kinect sensor at at SIGGRAPH. Engadget called it “jaw dropping”.

The videos show how you can scan a whole room and its contents within seconds. As you move around objects are revealed they are fused into a single 3D model.
