Visual Studio 2010, .NET Framework 4 Training Kit Updated, Includes ALM Developer Training

clip_image001June 2011 version of the Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Training Kit and Training Course adds new courses on application lifecycle management (ALM) and updates developer training.

The Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Training Course includes videos and hands-on-labs designed to help you learn how to utilize the Visual Studio 2010 features and a variety of framework technologies including:

  • C# 4.0
  • Visual Basic 10
  • F#
  • ASP.NET 4
  • Parallel computing
  • WCF
  • Windows Workflow
  • WPF
  • Silverlight
  • Windows Azure

The kit now contains 55 labs, 22 demos, 16 presentations and 12 videos.

New Content

New content in this release includes ALM:

  • Using Code Analysis with Visual Studio 2010 to Improve Code Quality
  • Introduction to Exploratory Testing with Microsoft Test Manager 2010
  • Introduction to Platform Testing with Microsoft Test Manager 2010
  • Introduction to Quality Tracking with Visual Studio 2010
  • Introduction to Test Planning with Microsoft Test Manager 2010

All ALM labs now point to the latest version of the VS 2010 RTM VM.

We also made some changes to the way lab code snippets install. There were reports of snippets not installing in some scenarios. The change we made should address that.
