Support Touch in Your Windows 7 Application

imageA new video in MSDEV shows how you can build support for Windows 7 Touch and Multitouch in your applications.

The video, How Do I: Use Multitouch in a Windows 7 Application?, demonstrates how you can create a Multitouch application for Windows 7. The sample demonstrates a simple WPF photo viewing application where you can drag, zoom, and rotate an object, and drag several objects at a time.

About Touch

Windows Touch is a fun and more natural way to interact with your computer. When you pair Windows 7 with a touchscreen PC, you can control it with your fingertips.

By supporting multitouch technology, Windows 7 opens up a new world of possibilities. Some multitouch gestures mimic ones you’re already familiar with. A double click, for example, becomes a double tap on the screen.
