Porting your iPhone application to Windows Mobile

With Microsoft Mobile devices running version 6.5 of our mobile OS coming to the market towards the end of the year, now is the time to be thinking about porting your iPhone applications to Windows Mobile. With the launch of our Mobile Marketplace you will not only be able to build a compelling application but also have a place to market it. With many millions of Windows Mobile devices already in the marketplace there cannot be a better time to get start in Windows mobile development but where do you start?

Constanze Roman has written a great blog entry talking aboout this process and also the experiences a developer had in converting an iPhone application (Amplitude) to the Windows Mobile platform. As part of this we have also published a case study outlining what it takes to get an iPhone applicaiton over to the Windows Mobile platform.
