Support Statement for VB 6.0 on Windows 7

Evangelism is primarliy focused on forward looking technologies, but I often get many questions about legacy support for VB 6.0 amongst ISVs.  Many of those ISVs with legacy VB code will sleep a little better knowing that Microsoft has just updated their support statement for the core Visual Basic 6.0 runtime to include supported for the full lifetime of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.  This is five years of mainstream support followed by five years of extended support as documented here: https://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifepolicy.
