Microsoft Pinpoint is Microsoft’s premier online business marketplace for small and medium-sized business customers and partners. It is a benefit of the Microsoft Partner Program. Through Pinpoint partners can connect with prospective customers that best match their competencies and capabilities, and win new business by activating positive trust and reputation with online scale. The first beta is now live. PinPoint was announced at Worldwide Partner Conference.
Microsoft Pinpoint is especially suited for Small Business (1-49 employees), Lower Mid-Market (50-99 employees), and Core Mid Market (100-499 employees) to find the best Microsoft partners to engage on their technology need.
Many features of the Microsoft Pinpoint marketplace will be provided to partners without cost. Beyond these offerings, we are also planning for premium offerings for partners which may require partner subscriptions.

- Robust Search and Browse – to promote ease of solution discovery and research
- Microsoft Pinpoint Marketplace Message Boards – to allow users to pose questions to partners and other members of the community
- Community Ratings and Reviews – to allow users to gather reviews of partners and their solution offerings from other members of the online community
These features will be delivered through an intuitive user interface that will make it easy to use the site and collect valuable information about Microsoft-based solutions.
For partners, Prinpoint provides a channel to promote your solutions, generate qualified sales leads, and provide analytics about how their solutions are performing on the marketplace.
Microsoft Pinpoint and Solution Finder teams are working closely together to develop a transition roadmap from Solution Finder to Microsoft Pinpoint. Microsoft Pinpoint and Solution Finder will likely co-exist for a period of time as the transition is completed.
