The Ingenuity Point (http://www.theingenuitypoint.com/main/default.aspx) is our effort to highlight ISVs who make products and/or provide services that have a measureable positive effect on the world’s healthcare, education, and clean technology initiatives.
A posting on our sister blog (http://blogs.msdn.com/msftisvs/archive/2008/04/22/announcing-ingenuity-point-s-round-2-winners.aspx) lists the second round of winners in each of these categories.
If you have a product or service that meets these criteria, we’d love to hear about it, and as you’re considering features for the next releases of your products and services, it might be helpful keep these factors in mind. They make a difference.
For example, building products that are virtualization-friendly can help reduce the amount of energy necessary to run them (which in turn reduces their carbon footprint.) If such products increase access to education or healthcare in the process, they’d be great candidates for the next round of Ingenuity Point awards.
