Silverlight 1.1 Development with Visual Studio 2008
By now I'm sure you have all heard that Visual Studio 2008 has RTM'd and is available for MSDN subscribers to download in the MSDN download center. If you are also interested in developing Silverlight 1.1 applications in .NET you have no doubt found that the existing Silverlight 1.1 Tools Alpha for Visual Studio 2008 bits don't work with the RTM version of VS2008. Have no fear, the team has released a new version of the bits today. So, to get started with Silverlight 1.1 you need to install:
- Visual Studio 2008
- Get this from the MSDN Subscriber download area
- Install the Silverlight 1.1 Alpha for Windows
- Install the Silverlight 1.1 Tools Alpha for Visual Studio 2008
- Install the ASP.NET Futures (Optional)
- Install Expression Blend (Optional)
- Get this from the MSDN Subscriber download area
