To compliment applications built on the 2007 Microsoft Office platform, Microsoft is now making available 2007 Microsoft Office system products to ISVs for resale through the ISV Royalty Licensing Program.
ISV Royalty (ISVR) is a worldwide supported program that enables ISVs with business software solutions to commercially redistribute Microsoft technologies to their customers. Many 2007 Office system SKUs are currently available for resale through the ISV Royalty Program – including Microsoft Exchange Server; Office SharePoint Server; Office Forms Server and their relative CALs; Project; Project Portfolio Server; Project Server; Visio; ProClarity Analytics and Office Business Scorecard Manager.
Now, using pricing, distribution and anti-piracy mechanisms designed specifically with the ISV channel in mind, we are able to introduce specific 2007 Office system SKUs into the ISV Royalty program.
Beginning in May 2007, Office Professional Plus 2007 and its component applications (Access, Excel, InfoPath, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) will be available to qualified ISVs for resale through the ISV Royalty Licensing Program.

Please note that Office Professional Plus 2007 will be handled in a slightly different way than other ISVR products. Media kits must be ordered from the Microsoft Order Entry Tool (MOET – a tool used to order Microsoft software to integrate with your unified solution). Media kits contain a product key that permits activation of up to 50 seats before a new kit must be purchased. Also, Office can only be distributed by authorized ISVs into customer accounts with fewer than 250 qualified desktops.
