Unified Service Desk 3.1.0 is Released

Continuing towards our goal towards a high performance, more reliable and secure Unified Service Desk, we have released the latest version 3.1.0. (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=862012)

Unified Service Desk version 3.1.0 has enhancements primarily focused on aligning with the latest security enhancements in Dynamics CRM online version 9.0.

The highlights of this release are

1. TLS 1.2 support: The Unified Service Desk version 3.1.0 supports TLS 1.2 out of the box. It is compiled using .Net version 4.6.2. This allows the Unified Service Desk client to automatically connect to the Dynamics CRM online version 9.0. For in market versions, certain registry entries have to be configured to enable them to connect to Dynamics CRM online version 9.0

2. Inactivity and Session Timer Support: Dynamics CRM online version 9.0 provides capabilities of preventing unauthorized access by supporting inactivity timer and session timer for users. Unified Service Desktop version 3.1.0 provides support for these enhancements, particularly in IE Process hosting type.
