Customers frequently ask me which branching strategy they should use with TFS. However, TFS is incredibly flexible and does not dictate any particular way of working.

To aid adoption our “VSTS Ranger” Team has produced a whitepaper giving much more detail on possible branching strategies with Team Foundation Server. Essential reading for TFS users!
