The MOS Four Nations Championship offers an opportunity for students across the UK and Ireland to prove their digital skills and be in the running to win fantastic prizes. To participate, eligible students must take, and pass, a MOS exam (Excel, PowerPoint or Word) before 15 May, 2017. Three finalists each from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will then be invited to the MOS Four Nations Championship finals day at Microsoft UK in June 2017.

To prepare students for Microsoft Office Specialist certification Prodigy Learning offers a comprehensive pathway from learning solutions through to certification exams. To ensure that the MOS certifications are delivered successfully, Prodigy Learning strongly recommends following the “Four Stage Learning Pathway” leveraging these solutions.

Skills Analysis: Each Student can use GMetrix as a “Skills Analysis” tool to determine their areas of weakness before they start their MOS training.  This saves time for the learner and Teacher as they can then focus their learning on what they don’t know;

Learning Solutions: The learner can then use the GMetrix Online Learning alongside Microsoft Imagine Academy eLearning, eBooks and Instructor Resources to focus on their areas of weakness and supplement their knowledge on those areas;

Practice Test: Once the learner has completed the Training, they then sit the GMetrix MOS Practice Test.  It is recommended that the college sets 80% as the benchmark for all learners in their GMetrix practice tests before they attempt their real MOS exam;

Exam: When the learner has completed stages 1-3 above, they sit their MOS exam in the college’s computer room. Certiport's live in application testing software makes MOS exams easy to deliver and delivers robust, internationally standardised assessment of each candidate's performance.
