EVENT 11th December: The Cloud – Driving School Improvement
Microsoft offices, Cardinal Place, London
Improving education and learning, creating new opportunities and improving life chances for learners are goals which educators, Microsoft and Advanced Learning share. On Thursday 11th December Microsoft and Advanced Learning are hosting The Cloud – Driving School Improvement.
This event for senior school leaders, to be held at Microsoft’s flagship offices at Cardinal Place, London, will give you a unique opportunity to listen and discuss the impact of cloud computing on education strategy, how senior leaders in one the country’s most innovative schools are using the cloud to raise learner outcomes and get hands on with the technology itself in the recently opened Microsoft Showcase Classroom.
During the day you will hear from Clare Riley, Microsoft’s Group Manager for Education Relations, who will be speaking about the state of education today. You’ll also have the chance to listen to Andrew Carpenter, Vice-Principal of Dartmouth Academy, which was described by an Ofsted inspector as the ‘best all through academy’ they had visited.
As well as having the opportunity to listen to Clare and Andrew speak about education, attendees will be among the first people to get access to the Showcase Classroom. Sessions are truly immersive and offer a unique hands on experience with the latest devices and cloud technologies from Microsoft and Advanced Learning.
The event will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm on 11th December and to register please complete your details here.
We look forward to welcoming you to the event but in the meantime if you have any queries please contact Richard Robey on 01332 826875.
