I was recently asked by the folks at PC Pro and Centerprise to write an introductory article for their ICT Review Windows 8 Special Report. The article discusses the need for edutech projects to be focused on outcomes and not just the technology itself. Successful technology projects should be about more than just the device, but should be focused on teaching and learning, support and the wider ecosystem to ensure any investments the institution is making are making a positive impact on the teaching outcomes.
The full article is included in the special report below. The report also looks at the key features of Windows 8, how schools can embrace the new OS and offers an overview of new devices.
