Learning Possibilities at Bett 2013

Guest post by LP+, one of our Microsoft Bett 2013 partners

Bett 2013 promises to be an exciting event for Learning Possibilities. We will be demonstrating our new SharePoint 2010 cloud-based learning platform - LP+4 - at BETT 2013. LP+4 features include avatars, status walls, theme changers and the LP+4 menu ribbon featuring blogs, wikis, discussions, surveys and more, providing an engaging and personalised learning and teaching experience to each user.

LP+4 fully integrates with school based MIS systems for auto-provisioning users and online parental reporting to show attendance, attainment and behaviour information. For schools who have invested in online content and on premise Active Directory, we offer single sign-on into and from your LP+4 portal.

We will also be demonstrating LP+4 fully integrated with the Office 365 solution allowing the flexibility of LP+4, with the power of Office 365. Schools can have email, video conferencing, additional storage (provided through Microsoft Lync) and e-portfolios on Office 365 fully integrated into their LP+4 portal.

In addition, there will be the launch of the new LP+4 Win8 Blogger App and LP+ iOS App allowing learners and teachers to access and contribute to their LP+4 sites from mobile devices.

2012 has been an eventful year for Learning Possibilities. The LP+4 learning platform was recently selected as the National VLE for Wales and has also been selected as a national platform in the Middle East. The platform runs on the secure LP+ cloud which uses 17 Microsoft Enterprise Class technologies and supports over 1.7m users. Although we deliver all services securely from our cloud, we offer schools full flexibility in the look and feel, structure, security and policies of their LP+4 learning platform. We charge an annuity based on user numbers and functionality selected, making LP+ affordable for even the smallest schools.

LP+4 is supported by ADOPT, our e-maturity framework selected as the National Model for England. ADOPT allows schools to benchmark progress in learning platform use and is used by our education consultants to deliver training and consultancy in line with school improvement targets. ADOPT is now also available to teachers as a Masters Course from Learning Possibilities & Wolverhampton University.

Come and experience LP+4 and meet the team at stand F271.
