We want to offer you the opportunity of a lifetime; the chance to work inside a global technology company during one of the most exciting periods in its history.
Following on from last year’s successful launch of the Microsoft Apprentice Programme, we are now recruiting for our next intake of Apprentices and applications are now open! So whether you’re a school leaver, parent, friend or relative, if you’re interested in finding out more about our Apprentice Opportunities then we’d love you to come along and meet us at our Apprentice Insight Event.
You’ll get the chance to meet our current Apprentices, find out what it’s really like at Microsoft and hear all about the fantastic opportunities they’ve had, both inside and outside of their day jobs. You’ll also be able to find out more about our selection process and have the opportunity to chat informally with our more senior employees too. We will also be doing tours of the Microsoft Campus and there will be refreshments too!
Where: Microsoft Campus, Thames Valley Park, Reading, Berkshire, RG6 1WG
When: Thursday 19th March, 16.30 – 18.30

Ahead of the event, we recommend you take a look at our Be Your Future website, which is all about the Apprentice experience here at Microsoft. With content written by our apprentices themselves, you’ll find first hand accounts of what life is like for a Microsoft Apprentice, both when working and also during personal time. Here are some short quotes from the Be Your Future site, to give you an idea of what life as an apprentice is like here:
“One of the best things about working at Microsoft is that even though you may be an apprentice or an intern, you are just as much a part of the team as a full time employee”
Abbie Sweeney – Technical Apprentice
“Words can’t describe how much I have learnt from being here. I’ve grown as a person and learnt things I didn’t even realise I would have to learn!”
Harriet Richardson – Apprentice in HR
“My favourite aspects of my role are definitely talking to the senior sales managers within EPG and generally being given real responsibility within the company.”
Kane McDougall – Apprentice in Sales.
“I love my job and I also love Microsoft! Nothing is ever boring, whether it is game launches or bake sales there is always something going on around the offices!”
Matt Shaw – Apprentice in Marketing.

We look forward to seeing you on the 19th of March!
