The Solution

Having gone through a detailed selection process and working within a very ambitious set of time constraints, Swansea University launched the first phase of the new solution in the summer.  Crimson’s solution provides the university with a state of the art recruitment solution, focusing on the needs of student engagement and managing the student lifecycle at one of its most critical phases. 

 Delivery of the Solution

Delivered to all of the Colleges within the university, the solution manages the vital communication between potential students, central admissions and the academic departments.  The solution has been delivered on time and on budget, and more importantly has delivered a significant functional benefit both within Admissions and the academic departments.  

The next phase of development will focus on social network integration and on-line marketing, and expects to drive significant growth in the recruitment of UK undergraduate and postgraduate students. Commenting on the project, Crimson’s Sales and Marketing Director John Drew, reiterates the need for a partnership approach to projects. “Without doubt, success of projects, comes down to great software, great communication and a willingness by both supplier and customer to work together to achieve a common goal. We are delighted to be working with Swansea; it’s been such a pleasure under very challenging timescales, but the university staff have been fundamental to its success.”
