Exciting Opportunity for Microsoft Partners to respond to the UK Government’s Digital Service Framework and become a supplier of Agile Development Services

Microsoft would like to draw your attention to the announcement of the UK Government’s new Digital Services Framework which has been put together jointly by Government Procurement Service (GPS) and the Government Digital Service (GDS) specifically to support the Government’s Digital Strategy. This provides an opportunity for Microsoft partners to do business directly with customers right across Public Sector.

This Framework will provide the ability for PS customers to procure a range of “agile” Capabilities and Roles. Capabilities include Agile Delivery Management, Front-end and Content Design etc. Roles include Developer , TAs, PMs, Designers, Web Ops, Security, DB and network specialists etc.

Suppliers must develop digital services adhering to the Government Service Design Manual and that meet the Digital by Default Service Standards . A description of the differences between the G-Cloud Framework and the GDS Framework can be found here.
