Smarter Government - See you at SOCITM 2011

We are looking forward to meeting many of you at the SOCITM 2011 conference next week. It runs from November 29 to December 1 at Birmingham’s NEC.

Microsoft is attending SOCITM 2011 as a sponsor and exhibitor together with a selection of our public sector solution partners.

We hope to see many of you at the ‘Designing and Delivering a Channel Shift Strategy’ discussion roundtables on Thursday December 1 (10:30 and 2:30) which will be chaired by Vicky Sargent, author of the ‘Better Served’ SOCITM report into the benefits of digitally-enabling public services.

You will also find us in the exhibit area with three of our public sector solution partners who will demonstrate solutions from the Microsoft Connected Government Framework that are helping public sector organisations save money and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery:

  • Ascribe – focus on Insight & Accountability
  • bbits – focus on Workplace Modernisation
  • IEG4 – focus on Service Delivery & Engagement

If you are not attending but are interested in knowing what is going on at SOCITM 2011 you can follow Microsoft on twitter @msukingov and also via our daily SOCITM postings to this blog.
