Business Intelligence – 7th SQLBits Conference at University of York in September

SQLBits is a very active user community for users of Microsoft SQL Server. It is an independent organisation that aims to assist all SQL Servers users to get the most out of their investment in SQL Server as a data management and business intelligence platform. The 7th SQLBits user conference is now scheduled to take place at the University of York from Thursday September 30th to Saturday October 2nd 2010.

SQLBits is a technical user community so the conference is aimed primarily at data management professionals and database administrators. The programme for the 7th SQLBits conference is currently being finalised and covers a wide range of topics from SQL Azure for cloud solutions through data warehousing to business reporting and analytics and much more.

Day one will be a training day, featuring in-depth full day seminars by leading SQL Server professionals; day two will be a deep-dive conference day with advanced sessions delivered by the best speakers from the SQL Server community; and day three will be the traditional SQLBits community conference day, with a wide range of sessions covered all aspects of SQL Server at all levels of ability.

I have attended previous SQLBits conferences and they are an excellent way to learn from other users and apply their experience and expertise to improve your organisation’s business value from your investment in Microsoft SQL Server.
