Save Up To 26% on Your Microsoft Enterprise Subscription Agreement

I know the title to today’s Microsoft Government blog posting reads like the ‘December sales starting early’ but (1) it is true and (2) the opportunity to make this saving expires on December 31st so I wanted to be sure you are aware of the offer for Microsoft’s Public Sector customers.

Now for the details. In May 2009, Microsoft and Buying Solutions announced the new Public Sector Agreement (PSA09) for the provision of Microsoft software to all Public Sector organisations. At the time of the announcement, Buying Solutions calculated that the new agreement can achieve £75 million in savings and will enable more flexible software licensing across the Public Sector.

From day one, take up of Microsoft software under PSA09 has been strong with an increasing number of Public Sector customers taking full advantage of the compelling value and added benefits of the new agreement.

One of the additional introductory offers that Microsoft announced at the launch of PSA09 was an additional discount for Public Sector customers entering into an Enterprise Subscription Agreement which can realise a saving of 26% on the current Enterprise Subscription Agreement enrolment price. This additional saving offer expires on December 31st 2009.

You’ll find more information and a new PSA09 Package Builder tool to help you configure your requirements under PSA09 here. Once you have reviewed the information and checked out your requirements using PSA09 Package Builder you can contact your Microsoft Business Manager, licensing reseller or email us at ukps@microsoft.com for more information and advice.
