Public Sector Security Symposium - Last Few Places Left

Just reading the news headlines in recent weeks reminds you that the challenge of keeping online information secure and accessible only by those authorised to view it remains at the forefront of building citizen confidence in doing more business online.

One of the presenters at the Microsoft Public Sector Security Symposium on September 16th is Jacques Erasmus, Director of Malware Research at Prevx who has just recently identified a personal information security scam relating to supermarket self-service checkouts.  At the symposium, Jacques will be presenting the results of some of his recent investigations into wireless security and sharing information on what is being discussed, like the 'supermarket sweep' scam, on the underground forums for internet security.

We are almost at the point of hanging up the 'house full' sign for the Security Symposium.  If you would like to attend you can check out the event details here and reserve your place.
