After months of planning and preparation, we are super excited about welcoming BETT 2014 visitors to the Microsoft stand’s at the show (D270 & D251).
With the paint still to dry and the last few screws still to go in, it’s been a busy 48 hours of final preparation for BETT 2014, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to recap what you will be able to find on the Microsoft stand to help you transform your teaching and learning and improve the efficiency of the IT within your institution.
The BETT show, and the ability to meet and learn from inspiring teachers, network managers and head teachers, is a highlight of the year for the whole Microsoft education team and we think that this year’s show, with the addition of the Interactive Classroom, is going to be the best yet.
The Microsoft Theatre, which is a focal point of our stand, offers visitors to the show access to a series of informative and thought provoking sessions, delivered by teachers and Microsoft staff, that discuss how technology can make a real difference within your institution.
In case you missed our blog post outlining the full agenda that we posted last week, I just wanted to share the full agenda for all 4 days of the show.
BETT 2014: Microsoft Theatre Agenda
BETT 2014: Interactive Classroom
Additionally, with the Interactive Classroom (powered by our friends at the Tablet Acedemy), we are offering a more focused overview on Windows 8 and how tablets can be used to excite and inspire learners within the classroom. Visitors to the Interactive Classroom will be able to use a Surface device for the duration of the session and is sure to be a popular feature of the stand. We look forward to you joining us!
BETT 2014: Devices & Education Apps
After hosting the device stand alongside our Learn Live Theatre last year, for BETT 2014 we are having an even greater focus on the exciting range of Windows 8 devices now available from both Microsoft and our OEM partners.
All the devices, from the Surface Pro 2 to the Dell Venue 8 Pro, are running a great selection of education themed apps and staff on the stand are available to help demonstrate how the combination of these devices and apps can help transform teaching and learning and save money within your institution.
BETT 2014: Treasure Trail
Lastly, after the success of last year, we are running treasure trail again for BETT 2014. Pop over to our stand to collect an entry form and visit the partners listed to get stamp from each. Drop your completed entry form off back at the Microsoft stand to be in for a chance to win a selection of great prices. These range from a Windows Phone to a Surface device. If only we could enter ourselves 😉
Have a great BETT 2014 and hope to say hi on our stand at some point during your visit!
