Back Once Again

Return Of The Mack...

Firstly let me appologise for my four month absence, I do have some good reasons including the arrival of a new baby in the Hutson household in May, the inevitable Microsoft end-of-year frantic sales push in June as well as the Microsoft conference season in July/August.

Firstly, there has been so much stuff happening in the world of CRM over the last few months that I though I should point you to some of the best bits:

Now it's time to look forward. Over the next couple of months we (that's the collective Microsoft CRM blogging community) are going to be talking about the next release of Microsoft CRM (codename 'Titan'). I just got back from our internal TechReady conference in Seattle last week, where I was thoroughly 'sheep dipped' in all the new stuff coming down the line.I even gave Philip Richardson top marks for his sessions (TechReady Followup), which were actually quite good - that's a couple of beers you owe me Phillip :-)

I can't give any product details away right now, but suffice to say we are looking for customers to participate in our Microsoft Dynamics CRM Titan Customer Showcase Program. The goal of this program is to accelerate success in deploying Microsoft Dynamics CRM Titan for our selected customers, and for the Microsoft CRM team to showcase these success stories during our upcoming world-wide product launch later this year.

This is a global program and will include a total of 60 customers:

  • 30 customers of Microsoft Dynamics Live CRM
  • 25 on-premise customers
  • 5 partner hosted customers

All nominations must come from a Microsoft Dynamics CRM partner before 10th August 2007, and if you require further details then you should email titansho@microsoft.com to obtain the nomination form, customer consent form and other associated information. There is no limitation on the number of customers that a partner can nominate, but the program is NOT designed to serve as sales evaluation tool/program for prospective customers. Customers selected for the on-premise and partner-hosted portions of this program must have already purchased Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.

Here in the UK, we will probably only secure a small number of nominations (remember that Microsoft Dynamics Live CRM won't be available initially outside of the US), so use your judgement and only submit a nomination if you feel your client implementation brings something of unique value as a case study.

All partners will be notified regarding the status of their customer nominations on or around 15th August 2007.
