ADM SoundBytes: A lap around the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF)

Our next SoundByte is: “A lap round the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF)”.

It is charged at the rate of 1 hour from your ADM contract. For this price you may have up to 2 Live Meeting connections, and you are of course free to use these to broadcast to a room full of people in your office. If you require further information on this subject after the event, you can of course engage with the ADC team as usual to setup a suitable session.

SoundBytes are short, focused, technical sessions aimed at developers and architects, delivered by an Application Development Consultant over Live Meeting. Attendees will be given time to ask questions, and receive a copy of the material presented in the session.

A lap around the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF) – Salvador Patuel

Date & Time

17th November 2010 from 11:00am UK Time

As MEF has been
incorporated to the main .NET framework on the latest iteration, it has raised
a lot of interest from developers and architects around its flexibility to
rapidly extend applications without recompiling. But some of them are still
scratching their heads around its relationship with other frameworks like
Unity, Windsor and the System.AddIn approaches. The session will show you how
MEF works and how it the inversion of control (IoC) container works with the dependency
injection (DI) pattern.
