Microsoft Student Partners at University College London

Introduction to some of the team at UCL

Slaviana: Lead for Microsoft Student Partners at UCL, studying IT and Management. I also have a wide range of interests including machine learning, public speaking, and politics. Additionally, I enjoy swimming and photography to balance out my studies. I became a Microsoft Student Partner at the end of my first year and I absolutely enjoy being part of such a vibrant community. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Sebastian: I am a 2nd year computer scientist at University College London. I love reading about technology and finance, writing code and drinking tea (all at once sometimes!). What I usually do is develop web (nodejs 4ever)/mobile apps, but I am looking forward to gaining some experience with deep learning and blockchain technology. This year I had the great pleasure of joining the Microsoft Student Partner Program and since then I met a lot of passionate people who are really invested into the world of technology. If you are the type of person who enjoys solving challenges in a multicultural environment, you should definitely take advantage of this opportunity.

Chris: 1st year Computer Science student at UCL who greatly enjoys following developments in a bevy of technologies, particularly drawn to areas such as microprocessors, networking, computer security, and app/game development. I’m excited to see what the rest of my first year will bring, and have found being an MSP a greatly fulfilling experience so far.

Events and activities on Campus

The first part of this university term was a busy one for Microsoft Student Partners in University College London. First and foremost, we hosted PixelJam, UCL’s first 24-hour game jam, and followed this up with two technical workshops. All three events were carefully planned over the next few post we will be sharing more details of activities of Microsoft Student Partners.

If you have any other questions about the events mentioned here, don’t hesitate to contact the UCL Microsoft Student Partners directly (
