Data science track of the Microsoft Professional Program (MPP)
Whether you’re just starting studying a undergraduate degree or finishing your PhD or you are simply looking for a new challenge, we believe that the courses in this data science track will teach the skills and provide the practical experience for you to be successful.
The Microsoft Professional Program (MPP) features a comprehensive curriculum, designed with input and participation from industry leaders, universities and our learning partners.
We all recognize the key skills gaps that exist and the MPP addresses these issues with rich course content and hands-on labs that lead to positive learning outcomes.
Students who progress through the courses, and prove their mastery in a final capstone project, will earn a digital certificate that can be shared online and with employers.
Since announcing this program in July, response has been encouraging, with over 50,000 people expressing interest in enrolling when registration opens. We’re also pleased with the response we’ve received from the 900 students participating in the pilot since May 2016. Over 160 have already finished the full curriculum at an accelerated pace, and we are receiving excellent feedback on the quality and usefulness of the program.
