Thiago Almeida grew up in Brazil and lived in New Zealand for many years before joining the Microsoft team in Redmond, WA. He’s part of the team that drives adoption of new technologies, focusing on cloud computing, open source, and DevOps practices.
Kevin has been with Microsoft for more than 20 years, during which time he has held a variety of technical and program management roles oriented primarily around developer tools and platforms. Kevin is currently responsible for designing and shipping the platform components through which developers build meaningful apps and services on top of the Windows family of devices. This includes contributing to developer features of the operating systems and Store experiences as well as delivering the tools and SDKs for creating amazing apps and games.
Kevin holds a BE from Carnegie Mellon University in Computer Engineering. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, hiking, and boating with his family.
David fell in love with code at 8 years old and began self-educating himself by learning BASIC on the Atari 800XL of his geeky father. He is passionate about anything linked to our beautiful geek universe such as Gaming, VR, AR, AI, 4K, Star Wars and accessibility.
Today, he is working at Microsoft inside the DX Corp TED team as a Senior Program Manager and works directly with the Windows product group and the MS Edge engineering teams. His primary focus is driving adoption of HTML5 standards by doing conferences, articles, demos and by writing frameworks to help web developers.
Andy Wigley is a Senior Developer Evangelist at Microsoft focusing on Windows and UWP app development. He has many developer training video series for Channel9 and Microsoft Virtual Academy including the Developer’s Guide to Windows 10.
