Insider Preview Builds & Windows 10 Education

If you’re a student or teacher running the Windows 10 Education edition – you can now go to Settings > Update & security > Advanced options and opt-in your PC to receive Insider Preview builds.

By joining the Windows Insider Program and running Windows 10 Education – you can help to shape the future of Windows for education customers. You can be a part of the ongoing process of improving the features and functionality of Windows that has helped us build the best Windows yet.

Windows 10 Education is available through Microsoft Volume Licensing. Individual students in schools participating in the DreamSpark program or eligible for the Windows student use benefit may also be able to download Windows 10 Education as a benefit of their school’s partnership with Microsoft.

Q: How do I join the Windows Insider Program and begin receiving Insider Preview Builds of Windows 10 Education?

Customers already using Education edition are in luck. Within the Settings menu, select Update and Security à Windows Update à Advanced Settings and click the button to sign-up and begin receiving Insider Preview Builds.

· Windows 10 Education is available through Microsoft Volume Licensing and DreamSpark Premium. Customers can visit the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center (https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx) to download bits if eligible.
