As someone who fights spam, as opposed to the rest of the population, I am actually interested in seeing the type of spam that gets to my junk mail folder. From time to time I will go through it and say "Hmm, which of our spam rules blocked this?"
Reputation filtering accounts for the bulk of spam blocks, but content filtering fills in the gaps. So, what do our contents filter say over the past two weeks?
Since Feb 11, I see some replica watch spam, a malware link posing as a Valentine e-Card, some enhancement pills, some online pharmacy advertising and mortgage refinancing. If you were to go back in time one year and look at my junk folder, you'd see the same thing. And the year before that. And the year before that.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
