Zune making up some ground in advertising

I'm currently watching a TV show when I saw an advertisement for a digital music player.  At first I thought it was an iPod commercial, and I was thinking "Hey, this is kind of a neat commercial... in terms of creativity in advertising."  However, at the end it turned out to be an ad for the Zune.

BTW, in case you didn't know, Microsoft has released version 2 of the Zune.

Anyway, the point of this post is that for a long time, Apple has held an edge in the "coolness" factor in its iPod advertising.  Microsoft has definitely lagged in this regards in the consumer market.  However, it is nice to see that Microsoft has pulled off a cool commercial and maybe is starting to make up some ground.

And, as we all know, competition is good for consumers (but bad for shareholders).
