I was browsing through my Oct 16 edition of Investor’s Business Daily when I came across this article entitled Google Goes Into Mobile Search, But Wireless Carriers Resisting. The article is a brief snippet about how Google is planning on bringing search (and advertising) to the mobile phone community.
In my other post, I went into my beliefs that the future of spam filtering lies in unified communications – email, instant messaging and phone. Google wanting to bring advertising to the mobile phone is going to bring new waves of opportunity – eventually, spammers will figure out a way to spamvertize, and anti-spam companies will be asked to come up with a solution. And when they do, we need to be ready.
