What, no MCITP: United States History Major anymore? I was planning on studying for those exams.

  2. Mark says:

How come no MOS or MCAS numbers up there?

  3. says:

Larry, we decertified the only two who had earned them.

The list is up to date.

    I’m sorry.

  4. AdamV says:

I agree, MOUS, MOS, MOS:Master, MCAS – all would be very interesting reading.

Surely someone in the Office certs team should be able to knock the numbers together in Excel?

  5. says:

    Shirley quit last week.

  6. Benjamin says:

Has anybody noticed the differences in MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician and MCITP: Consumer Support Technician?

More than 7 to 1 people are getting EST.  Is anybody else surprised?

  7. Liza Furr says:

Benjamin, I’m guessing it’s because of the one-exam upgrade from MCDST to MCITP:EST.  At least, that’s why I did it.

  8. I caught this from Trika's certification blog. Did you know there are 7,399 certified dudes Technical

  9. Peter Read says:

Benjamin – I’m not to be honest.  The enterprise is probably the place a certification would be more valuable, and CST by definition isn’t really aimed at that market.

I considered doing EST but CST didn’t really enter my head (ok so I didn’t do either because I decided it was silly given it’s a fair distance from what I do and wouldn’t add much value for me personally, but the pull to EST was stronger than CST)

    Hi Trika,

I’m new here, so I haven’t figured out how separate the Dynamics certification program is from the MCP program. Is there a similar page for the number of folks certified for Dynamics exams?

  11. says:

    Hi Trika,

I’m wondering if there are any plans for this page to eventually show MCPD 2.0’s and MCPD 3.5’s separately?

I think it’d be interesting to see how many people are going for the newer path.  And how would this page represent someone who has, for example, both MCPD : Web 2.0, and MCPD : Web 3.5?  Would they get double-counted, or would the numbers be mis-representatively low?  Splitting them up would make that a lot clearer 🙂

  12. LarryWestMCSD says:

Back in the old days, "all MCP’s" [that 2,296,561 number at the bottom] meant all certified people. However, it is possible now to be certified without being an MCP. How about a separate listing of all certified people, or is the MCP number still listing all certified?

Also, I noticed that the MCSE-NT4 numbers increased by 12 (Yeah, I need to get a life). What’s up with that? One would think that with some MCSE-NT4’s departing the planet that the number would go down, not up.

I am sorry to hear about Ms. Someone’s departure from the Office certs team.

  13. Hello Trika 🙂

Where is the MCITP: Operations Manager ? I’m very anxious to know how much exist. Bye.

  14. Peter Read says:

Cleber – have I missed the pro level exam for that?! I thought it was still in development 🙁

  15. Hi Peter,

You be alright, but this exam no was launched and the new approach of Microsoft is give the MCITP for professionals that complete the SCOM and SCCM exams. In my transcript, after I done this two exam, I received the MCITP Operations Manager qualification too.

  16. Peter Read says:

Really?  I’ve got both the SCOM and SCCM, and MCITP: Operations Manager is showing in cert planner with ticks but nothing on the transcript.

Trika is that right?  Do I need to go to the helpdesk? (don’t want to confuse them if that’s not the case!)

  17. says:

Peter, no, please don’t call the helpdesk, I’m checking on this. E-mail me directly, please. We have not released an MCITP: Operations certification.

  18. says:

Phil, man. No, there’s no page about Dynamics at the moment. Stand by, I want to poast something about that.

  19. Phil Edry says:

Trikah — what does rickrolling have to do with Dynamics? I mean, Rick’s a dynamic performer and all… standing by.

  20. Yanze says:

    Trika & Peter, same here.

If I look in the Certification Planner I see the MCITP Operations Manager with both exams ticked (SCOM and SCCM, passed them both).

But nothing on my Transcript, we’ll have to wait for 71-402 and in the mean time MSFT can fix the Certification Planner, because that is incorrect 😉

  21. says:

Peter and Roel, did you get an e-mail from Microsoft about this? I’m told this has been resolved; can you confirm we got the issue fixed.
