Ladies and gentlemen, I give you...

...Gerry O'Brien, our new product planner for developer exams. He's not new to Microsoft Learning, and I've referenced his blog many a time about certification or his community activities. But this just in, he is taking over Howard's role and I'm particularly pleased for the following reasons.

Gerry is always piping up to help, unsolicited; he knows his stuff; when you ask him for an answer he responds promptly and seems happy to do so; he is certified!; and on top of all that he seems an exceptionally nice guy.

He'll be at TechEd: Developers in Barcelona. There are pros and cons of this:

  • Pro: you'll get to meet him if you are going to TechEd: Developers, too. look for him at the Microsoft Learning booth in the ask the experts part of the show floor. Maybe you can eat tapas together!
  • Con: I will not get to eat tapas with Gerry, because I'm going the following week, to TechEd: IT Forum, instead.

Please go introduce yourself to Gerry on his blog. Say goodbye again to Howard on his blog.
