This just in. Edward Dake just informed me that he earned MCTS Vista mere moments ago, so my last post, titled "6219," is now out of date.

What about MCITP Enterprise Support?  That was just at 923 last month… what did that number change to?  I took the upgrade exam so I should register in both of those areas.  Where are you getting your updated numbers… (besides the fact that you work for microsoft.)  Is the update going to show soon?

    Stil 923 😉 hehe i’m one of that too 🙂 YEaah…

You can check the updated numbers at : http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/certified.mspx

Ehhh..Willie My bad…the numbers are NOT updated yet 🙁

@Trika : When do they get updates? And eh….is there gonna be a Country filter on the MCP Numbers soon? 🙂

Before they bother adding country breakdowns (which would mean quite a bit of modifications to how they do the page currently, and we know things move slowly with MSL webpages!), they ought to at least add the certifications that are left out. That would be easy.

The numbers should be updated by next Thursday (Oct 18), according to what Trika’s said previously.

  5. So Trika, can we assume that you are going to be 6221?

I’ve just postponed my next exam (so I can concentrate on a beta), so it’s okay that you have.

I recommend that you always set a date for your next exam, even if circumstances (like trips to Australia and Spain) force you to postpone it.

    Hi Trika –

Not sure the numbers really matter.  I passed 70-632 over 2 months ago (Aug. 10) and have never received the mcts for project 2007.  The exam has shown up in my transcript for over 6 weeks, but the credential was never issued.  The regional service center repeatedly states "ok, your issue has been escalated and will be resolved in 3-5 business days."  5 days later I call again with nothing resolved.  My most recent call was probably the most fun in which I was told to "not worry about it, the transcript shows that you passed the exam so you must have the credential."  Is this what it will be like when the credentials start expiring?  The test will still be there but no credential in the transcript.  Maybe I am just ahead of the curve on expired credentials!

For what it is worth, my support case number is KMM10319653I14L0KM

All, numbers are being updated now, I think. No plan to post by country–this would have to be a dynamic db query (can’t post 40+ cert numbers for hundreds of countries each month) and we’re not able to do that on our current platform, which is a bummer

Ken, send me your last correspondence with the helpdesk please.

    Larry thanks for the tip!

Oh contraire Trika, all it requires is a manually or scheduled script to run once a month to retrieve the figures AND update the web page even if it was left as a static web page. The ever-so-geeky Scripting Guys over at TechNet could lend their hands to the pump.

Bob, stop by my office and I’ll direct you to the database people and the web people and I’ll look forward to your solution! As much as I’d like to do this, it is not on my priority list and, as I said, we’re not set up to do it now.
