For those of you who were tracking my travel plans

...but then got bored of doing that, because I haven't really gone anywhere: look sharp! Because I just got to Orlando, FLA for TechEd.

I took the redeye from Seattle with approximately 150 other MIcrosoft employees, and sat behind Bob Muglia, who was one seat in front of me in first class. I was one seat behind him, in coach class. I wonder if he feels a little famous, like a David Hasselhof that only Microsoft employees and IT industryophiles recognize on sight. In any case, when the little dividing curtain would sweep aside, there he was! Bob Mugliahof! It was nice, kind of like in my office when Karl's shades are up I can see the sky through his windows.

In other news, when I went to the conference center to register and find all of our space in the MASSIVE conference center (MCT community lounge, MSL booth, testing and certification center, Cram4Exams room) I learned that all the exam seats for Monday are taken already (it is the $50 on site exam deal PLUS a special Pearson VUE is running)! There are still spaces for other days this week, though. The cram room looks cool, too, I know they are planning beer and pizza and lectures and 1 to 1 studying with Microsoft Certified Trainers for people to pass their exams.

Guess how much a Seattle's Best Coffee latte costs at Orlando airport? I won't tell you, because it will just make you mad, and you can't do anything about it.
