Does the MCITP for Exchange 2007 require 2 or 3 exams?

Answer is 3. 70-236 to earn the MCTS; then 70-237 AND 70-238 to earn MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator. We are updating the prep guides to say this clearly – as shown below in 238 example…

70-238 Credit Toward Certification: When you pass Exam 70-238 Pro: Deploying Messaging Solutions with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, in conjunction with passing Exam 70-237 Pro: Deploying Messaging Solutions with Microsoft Exchange Server 1007, and Exam 70-236 TS: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring, you complete the requirements for the following certification:

Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Messaging Administrator

What courses are necessary to present 70-236?

Will there be an upgrade path for candiates with the MCSA/MCSE: Messenging status?  Like the MCDST -> MCITP: Enterprise Support Tech.

Ken, no there is not a different upgrade path for MCSA/MCSE with Messaging or Security specializations who want to move to Longhorn. Messaging is covered in these three Exchange exams; the Server MCITPs won’t have a separate messaging component. We’ll post more on this first week of May.

Will the 70-236 count as an elective for mcsa/mcse messaging? OR will one of the other exchange 2007 exams count as an elective for mcsa/mcse messaging ???
