MSDN TechTalk: Dynamic Analysis and Test Generation for .NET with Pex

Update: Unfortunately we have to cancel this event due to unforeseen circumstances.

Last weekend I received an e-mail from Peli de Halleux over in Redmond, saying that he'll be coming over to Belgium during Christmas holidays. You might know Peli from his work on MbUnit and different Reflector add-ins. Peli offered to do a talk on the project he is working on at Microsoft Research: Pex. An offer I couldn't refuse...

MSDN TechTalk: Dynamic Analysis and Test Generation for .NET with Pex

Pex (Program EXploration) is an intelligent assistant to the programmer. By automatically generating unit tests, it helps to find bugs early. In addition, it suggests to the programmer how to fix the bugs. Pex enables a new development experience in Visual Studio Team System, taking test-driven development to the next level. Pex analyzes .NET applications. From a parameterized unit test, it automatically produces traditional unit tests cases with high code coverage. Moreover, when a generated test fails, Pex can often suggest a bug fix.

Come and learn about this project from our fellow Belgian Peli de Halleux, who has been working on this for some time already.
