A New Look and Feel for Windows?

In an attempt to add some light-hearted humour to our series of interviews with the WPF team on Channel 9, I got together with Kevin Moore and Robby Ingebretsen to discuss some of the styles and theming work they’ve been responsible for. This video was really fun to record, and if you’ve got fifteen minutes to spare, I think you’ll get a kick out of it, particularly when you see the new common control we’ve added to Windows 🙂

Check it out here: https://channel9.msdn.com/showpost.aspx?postid=222817

Also check out these other recent interviews we’ve done on XBAP and XAML, and three cool demos: Scripps, Accruent and Shaxam.

LOL. I almost didn’t watch it with the desynchonized sound! Good stuff, but I’m pretty sure that Kevin Moore is a singleton, so trying to get him locally for my own KevinMoreButton special effects might be problematical…

Also…I was searching high and low for the source code to play around with and came up empty. So, I threw my own together. Lacking cool pics of Kevin I turned it into a SmileyButton. The XBAP and the source are available.
