New Features in Windows XP Service Pack 2: Again!

I posted a little while back about the changes to Windows XP Service Pack 2. At the time we shipped a document that described those changes in great detail. Yesterday a new version of this document was released that added a ton of updates and extra details on features like the new Tablet PC interface. It's well worth downloading the new version as Windows XP SP2 nears release. Hopefully many of you are now running RC1 on your development machine - as the Release Candidate moniker suggests, the Windows group are now on the final stabilisation path towards RTM some time in the couple of months. I've been running a post-RC1 build on my machine and the few refinements that have been made as a result of beta feedback have added some nice polishing touches.

You can grab the new book online from the Microsoft Download Center. Oh, and for Pete Cole's benefit, the SDK documentation is here!

UPDATE: The Platform SDK for Build 2096 is now posted, containing the headers, shared libraries and everything needed to compile against the new APIs. There won't be the same problems in getting this online for the RC2 build (thanks to Tony Goodhew).
