TechEd Europe Birds of a Feather

If you're attending TechEd Europe this year, you may be interested to know that we're running a series of "birds of a feather" (BOF) sessions throughout the conference. The idea is simple - if you want to host an interactive discussion with other attendees on a topic of your choice, we have a room dedicated to this kind of activity. You simply nominate the topic you're interested in discussing; others can vote on the topic and the most popular topics become part of the TechEd programme. The BOF sessions are being run independently by INETA, an independent .NET organisation. So, if you want to discuss extreme programming, service-orientated architectures, mobile devices, user groups or even blogging - it's up to you to nominate it! Hope to see some of you there.

I’m intrigued as to why there doesn’t appear to be any sessions about the Microsoft Business Framework. Any idea?

I’m interested in how this fits in with SOA, ObjectSpaces, and ShadowFax.

It seems odd there’s no mention of it, when it’s supposed to be released with Whidbey and there was at least one session at the PDC.

Not sure if you’ll know but thought I’d give it a go.

Thanks Johnny. I made a few comments about this on another post (; also see for more info on the current status.

In short, it’s just a little early for a session at this stage, since it’s not yet hit beta. Sorry!

Ah, that makes sense, I was wondering why it would be in PDC but not TechEd, especially if there’s supposed to be a release in the Whidbey timeframe. I missed your reply in the previous thread.

I’m guessing then that it won’t be released *at the same time* as Whidbey.

    See you at TechEd!

I just noticed that the US TechEd has set up a bloggers site for those attending ( – any plans to do the same for the Euro one?
