.NET Framework Class Library Posters

I'm often asked why we don't make the glossy .NET Framework Class Library Posters
(included in the VS.NET box) available for download from the website. Actually, they're
already all available in PDF format, it's just that we've buried them so deep within
the site so that nobody can find them 🙂

You can get hold of them here:
English French German Spanish Italian Japanese Chinese Korean

It would be great to get the Whidbey versions of these posters available electronically
some time around Beta 2, so we can start to get to grips with the changes. Wonder
if we can make that happen...

Tim it would be great to be able to get these posters in original glossy format, as supplied with VS .NET, but not with MSDN subs.
BTW I had to reactivate all the nasty plug-ins to get Acrobat Reader 6.0 to open the files, and also plow through several update and download ‘opportunities’ from Adobe: only my firewall told me that it was going online. Acrobat is now back to being slow and messy to use! Makes me pine for Real Player all over again 😉

Richard, this isn’t the perfect answer to your question, but you can get hold of the posters in paper format as part of the Applied .NET Framework Programming Collection (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0735619751) by Jeffrey Richter. This is perhaps the best book on the .NET Framework and as well as the posters also includes a training session on exception handling. At £35 / $49, this is a good bargain if you’ve not already got the book (or a very expensive way to get hold of posters if you have 🙂

Isn’t there a hierarchy tree structure that I can download that has all classes in it? also in a nicely presentable format.

I just tried to access the links for the English posters at the top of this thread and was 404’d. Do you have an updated link available?

    Thx, G
