Access 2007 Beta 2 Misconception #1 - ADPs are gone

I've heard this one already from multiple people, so it's worth dispelling it: ADPs are not gone from Access. Here's how to create one:

  1. Boot Access;
  2. Click on the "Blank Database" button in the middle of the screen (under the "New Blank Database" section);
  3. On the right side of the screen, right by the name of the new database that will be created, click the folder open button. A "File New Database" dialog should be up;
  4. Drop the "Save as type" dropdown, and select "Microsoft Office Access Projects (*.adp)";
  5. Hit Ok;

From this point on you will be creating a new ADP.
