Finished Filming: Active Directory Federation Services

This last Tuesday (Nov 9) we filmed our next episode of "The .NET Show". This one is on ADFS, which is a technology being worked on which will greatly expand the capabilities for controling and coordinating the authentication and authorization of accounts across various network boundaries. As we will point out in this episode, by using the features of "Authorization Manager" (Aka. AzMan) today, your applications will be well situated to easily use ADFS when it becomes available in the near future.

However, perhaps the big news of the day, was that this was also the day that "Halo2" was released. As it just so happens the Microsoft Company Store (for employees) is also located in the same building as our studio.

By the time the store opened up in the morning the line was wrapping clear around the building, and parking was overflowing. Fortunately, the lines reduced down to almost nothing by the time Erica and I had to show up for filming.

And yes, I picked up my copy once we were finished for the day. Erica picked up a copy for her husband when she arrived.
