The ParcelGenie.com App on Windows Phone 7 (WP7) enables real little gifts to be sent to anyone with a mobile phone, without the need to know the recipient’s delivery address. The focus is on ‘gifting as communication’ with real gifts being sent to say ‘Hi’, good luck, congratulations or to celebrate an occasion. Real gifts can be bought and sent without leaving the application. Gift recipients receive a personal message and an instant text message alert that they have received a real gift, followed by the real thing in the post.
